Global investments in oil and gas are expected to grow 4% in 2022, with emphasis on Brazil

Representing an important pillar of the Brazilian economy, as well as its recovery in the face of the international financial scenario, the oil and gas sector leads the field of good energy prospects and continues to grow. According to Rystad Energy, a Norwegian research and market intelligence company in the energy sector, the estimate is that global investments in oil and gas will be 4% higher in 2022, compared to the previous year. In Brazil, a country that stands out in Latin America for the exploration and production of these fuels, Petrobras announced a budget of US$ 11 billion in investments for the period.

With the purpose of accompanying the expansion of the oil and gas segment, Krominox, the national leader in the production of tubes and solutions in stainless steel, has just announced new contributions to its production structure, in order to maintain and expand the offer of solutions that include your portfolio on a customizable basis.

“We currently have three manufacturing units in operation and by the end of 2022 we have planned to invest R$10 million, with 80% of this amount already allocated to the acquisition of machinery, tools and thermal ovens dedicated to the production of seamed steel tubes; without a doubt, one of the solutions that offer the best cost-benefit to the oil and gas sector, configuring a durable and resistant material to the most different processes that involve the extraction and production of these inputs and fuels. By 2023, another R$ 15 million will be invested in our manufacturing structure to effectively meet the growing demands”, points out Marcos Barbosa, CEO of Krominox.
