Graco Inc. announced four acquisitions Friday of businesses from Canada to Brazil.

Graco said it will pay $160 million for the stock of Erie, Penn.-based High Pressure Equipment Co. in a deal set to close in the first quarter, pending regulatory approval.

The High Pressure acquisition will save Graco an estimated $1.5 million per year in taxes through 2029.

Graco is also buying Kamas, Utah-based White Knight Fluid Handling Inc. for an undisclosed price. That deal is set to close early this month.

Graco said it closed on the purchase of two companies outside the U.S.: Dunnville, Ontario-based GeoBlaster Equipment Sales & Services Inc., and Porto Alegre, Brazil-based Multimaq-Pistolas e Equipamentos Para Pintura.

Graco said it will pay about $25 million for White Knight, GeoBlaster and Multimaq.

The four companies had combined sales of about $50 million in the past 12 months and EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) of about $17 million.

"The acquisitions we are announcing today support our strategic growth plans to expand into new markets and geographies, while diversifying our portfolio of precision products for critical applications," Graco President and CEO Patrick McHale said in a news release, which has more details about the companies being purchased.

Minneapolis-based Graco (NYSE: GGG) designs and makes equipment that moves, measures, dispenses and sprays fluids and powders.
