The board of the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels - ANP has defined the list of priority actions for 2017. The Agency will invest in improving the business environment and in the transparency of its actions.

 

This year's highlights include four rounds of bids (areas with marginal accumulations, 14th round of exploratory blocks, 2nd and 3rd rounds of pre-salt areas), stimulation of exploration and production on land, actions for Increase the useful life of the producing fields, as well as the adequacy of the standards applied to the resale and distribution of fuels, natural gas, logistics and biofuels, in particular the regulation of the bio-methane value chain.

 

In order for these goals to be realized, the Agency will improve the use of IT and innovation tools, review information flows, and strengthen people management by investing in staff training.

 

See the complete list of priority actions by the ANP in 2017: 

  • Perform the Bids for Blocks for Exploration and Production of Oil and Natural Gas. 
  • Improve the business environment and contribute to increased transparency and productivity by taking steps to: uncomplicate procedures; Streamline decision making; Extend the delegation of powers; Unify and simplify the registration of economic agents (single registration); To permit the improvement of bidding documents and contracts for Blocks for Petroleum and Natural Gas Exploration and Production; Optimize the system of conflict mediation; Improve management systems; And promote speed and efficiency of processes. 
  • Adapt strategic planning and regulatory agenda to new direction and new objectives. 
  • Stimulate the activity of exploration and production of oil and gas in land areas. 
  • Promote actions to increase the useful life and the recovery factor of the fields. 
  • Adequate standards applicable to the segments of downstream, natural gas, biofuels and logistics and regulate the value chain of biomethane. 
  • Improve the use of IT and innovation tools (ANP Digital, Electronic Process, SEI, Integrated Debt Management System) to promote the integration and efficiency of activities. 
  • Review the flows of information and data dissemination, strengthen positioning and key messages. 
  • Intensify the Program to Strengthen People Management, investing in staff training.
