The Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute (IBP) has once again stood out at the Caio Awards, considered the “Events Oscar” in Brazil. After its unprecedented win in 2022, IBP returned to the podium with ROG.e 2024, one of the world’s largest energy gatherings, held in September last year.
At the awards ceremony, held last Monday, December 8, in São Paulo, the conference received two “crocodiles”: a gold award in the International Congress category, reinforcing the event’s global relevance and its ability to foster strategic discussions; and a bronze award in Social and Environmental Responsibility, recognizing the practices and initiatives that made this edition more responsible and aligned with ESG commitments.
This was not the first time IBP was recognized for delivering the event, which takes place every two years. In 2023, the 2022 edition received two gold trophies in the Technical Infrastructure for Events and B2B Party and Hall categories, as well as a bronze trophy in Social and Environmental Responsibility.
ROG.e 2026
The next edition will take place from September 21 to 24, 2026, at Riocentro, in Rio de Janeiro, and brings new features that reflect the event’s evolution toward an even larger and more immersive format. After consolidating its new identity in 2024, ROG.e is expanding its structure to become the largest energy festival on the planet, occupying the biggest convention center in Latin America, with more than 95,000 m² of space, international pavilions, and themed arenas.
With an expected 75,000 participants and 650 exhibiting companies, ROG.e 2026 reaffirms its role as a global platform for discussing energy transition, technological innovation, source integration, and sustainability—further establishing Rio de Janeiro as the world’s energy capital.
