The 2026 edition of Macaé Energy is already underway, with its official pre-launch scheduled for next Wednesday, January 28, starting at 8:30 AM, at the Royal Palace Macaé Hotel. The presentation will take place in a strategic dialogue environment with the market during the "Economic Perspectives for Oil & Gas in 2026" meeting, promoted by Rede Petro-BC in partnership with Sebrae, bringing together business leaders, industry associations, and professionals to discuss the future of the oil and gas sector.

During the pre-launch event, entrepreneurs, companies, and participants will follow analyses and strategies on the industry's future, with highlights including Petrobras, which will detail its 2026–2030 Business Plan, and the Rio de Janeiro State Industry Federation (Firjan), responsible for outlining the economic outlook for oil, gas, and energy markets in Brazil. The discussion will also feature Felipe José de Loire Barreira, HSE Manager at Petrobras' UN-BC.

The pre-launch offers a preview of the key themes, business opportunities, and foundational debates that will take center stage at Macaé Energy 2026. The main event will be held from March 17 to 19 at the Jornalista Roberto Marinho Convention Center in Macaé.

With an expected 15,000 attendees, Macaé Energy 2026 arrives expanded and more robust. The event will feature 30 hours of technical content, distributed across 7 thematic panels and 5 keynote speeches, alongside a 10,000-square-meter business fair with around 50 exhibitors. Confirmed participants include Prio, Equinor, Firjan, Rede Petro, Transforma, Tess Brazil, Armazém Offshore, Viferro, Tecnogera, Atlas Copco, Hidropartes, and SLB, reinforcing the diversity of solutions and suppliers present.

Another highlight is the "Opportunity Network", which facilitated over 300 business meetings in 2025, including 100 with micro and small enterprises. Organizers aim to reach 400 meetings in 2026, strengthening connections between major players and local suppliers. Growth is also reflected in the conference: after attracting 2,000 participants in 2025, the goal for 2026 is 4,000 attendees, solidifying Macaé as a strategic hub for energy, oil, and gas discussions.

According to Fátima Facuri, CEO of Grupo Open Brasil (the organizer of Macaé Energy), the event reinforces the city’s strategic role in the national landscape:
"Energy is the force that moves the world, and Macaé is the beating heart of that force. This is an opportunity where innovation and expertise come together to shape the future of energy in Brazil."

Macaé Energy 2026 is organized by Grupo Open Brasil, in collaboration with Firjan, and with strategic partnerships from Rede Petro-BC and the City of Macaé. The event has institutional support from Abemi, Abimaq, Abeam, Abitam, ABPIP, ATGas, EPE, IADC Brazil, IBP, Instituto Macro, ONIP, and Syndarma.
