Petrobras' Director of Governance and Compliance, Marcelo Zenkner (photo), was chosen to be part of the working group (GT) created by the president of the Supreme Court, Minister Luiz Fux, to structure the integrity systems of the Brazilian Justice. The creation of the WG in the National Council of Justice is part of the actions due to the International Day to Combat Corruption, celebrated today, December 9th. In July, Zenkner was considered the second most admired Compliance executive among his peers in Brazil.

Marcelo Barbosa de Castro Zenkner holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), a specialization in Civil Procedural Law from the Catholic University of Petrópolis (UCP), a master's degree in Fundamental Constitutional Rights and Guarantees from the Law Faculty of Vitória ( FDV) and PhD in Public Law, from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FDUNL). He served as a Prosecutor member of the Public Ministry of the State of Espirito Santo, where he was also Secretary of State for Control and Transparency. At Petrobras, he has already held the position of consultant to the Presidency and was a member of the Disciplinary Measures Committee, an integral part of the Integrity System, directly linked to the Petrobras Board of Directors.
