In six months of operation at the Mataripe Refinery, in Bahia, Acelen, the energy company that acquired the first privatized assets of Petrobras in Brazil, increased its share in the national lubricants market, jumping from 7 to 11% of total sales.

This growth is a result of the increase in production, the quality of the final product and the customer base, operating mainly in the automotive, industrial, pharmaceutical and agribusiness markets. In this way, the need for Brazilian imports of base oils was reduced, consolidating Acelen as one of the main players in the country's lubricating oil market.
