The Mossoró Oil&Gas Expo, an event dedicated to bringing together the main public and private agents involved in the exploration, production, commercialization, refining and distribution of oil and gas in onshore areas in Brazil, will be held from July 5th to 7th, at Expocenter, from the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid (Ufersa), in Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte.

Considered the largest onshore event in Brazil, it is expected to bring together more than 2 thousand people in this edition, which will be in person after two years, and will feature panels (Oil and Gas and Innovation arenas), 90 exhibitor stands, business roundtables and scientific. The event will focus on discussions around the new cycle of national onshore exploration and production, marked by the opportunities generated by the entry of independent producers.

Entities such as the Brazilian Association of Independent Petroleum Producers (ABPIP), National Association of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas (IBP), Energy Research Company (EPE), SEBRAE, FIERN and the largest oil and gas operators in the country. "By bringing together the main actors in the Brazilian oil and gas production chain, Mossoró Oil&Gas enables direct contact between companies that supply goods and services and operate in production, such as PetroReconcavo and 3R Petroleum, independent operators that took over the mature fields of Rio de Janeiro. Grande do Norte, previously operated by Petrobras", explained Anabal Santos Jr., Executive Secretary of ABPIP.

ABPIP and its associated companies will participate in discussions on every day of the Mossoró Oil&Gas Expo and the association will have a stand at the event, which will serve as a meeting point between operators and suppliers within the fair. Anabal Santos Jr. will speak at the opening panel, July 5th, at 2:30 pm, with the theme "Onshore: Paths to a Regulatory Framework". The president of the Association, Luciana Borges, will participate in the panel "Talk Show - Female Empowerment on the Brazilian Onshore", on July 6, at 1 pm.

The Executive Secretary highlights Face2Face in the schedule, which will be held on July 7 at 1 pm. "In an innovative format, the CEOs of the two independent operating companies operating in Rio Grande do Norte, Marcelo Magalhães, from PetroReconcavo, and Ricardo Savini, from 3R Petroleum, will be placed face to face for a fun and instructive comparison of portfolios, performance and culture of these companies", said Santos Jr.

With the presence of most of the associated companies at the event, the Association will also hold an exclusive meeting for this audience, the ABPIP Day, at the beginning at Mossoró Oil&Gás Expo, on the 5th, at 9:30 am, with the aim of strengthening relations and realigning planning for the year, in addition to introducing operators to suppliers. 

Mossoró Oil & Gas Expo 

The event will feature two Arenas, where relevant topics of the onshore market and innovations will be discussed. At Arena Petróleo e Gás, the panels will consist of technical and market discussions, with an emphasis on the current scenario and trends in Brazilian onshore and the expansion of opportunities for onshore oil and gas activities in the country.

During the three-day event, topics such as paths to a regulatory framework will be addressed; midstream / downstream - Brazilian onshore opportunities; female empowerment in the Brazilian onshore; technologies applied to recovery in mature fields, in addition to new oil and gas frontiers, onshore and transparent well gas market prospects - technical and regulatory challenges.

At Arena Inovação, discussions will focus on technology and innovation in the onshore segment, with a workshop for R, D & I projects for oil and gas. The Demoday Mossoró Oil & Gas will also be held, a kind of pitch of selected startups for invited oil and gas companies.

In parallel, the event also features the Brazilian Onshore Oil and Gas Symposium, an academic activity in partnership with Ufersa, and the business roundtable, bringing together supplying companies and large operators.
