The "NBCC Energy Seminar: The Impact of Energy Transition in the O&G and Renewables Sectors" will be held on October 08 at the Rio Art Museum (MAR) , conceived and organized by the NBCC (Norway-Brazil Chamber of Commerce), it has the institutional support of the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (IBP) and the Energy Research Company (EPE). The event will be held in English, between 13:30 and 17:30, we will not have simultaneous translation.

 

On the occasion, DNV GL Global President and CEO Remi Eriksen will release the "Energy Transition Outlook 2019" report to be released worldwide in September. (More information on the 2018 edition of the DNV GL report can be found at: https://eto.dnvgl.com/2018/main-report).

 

The purpose of the event is to promote a constructive debate where trends, opportunities and challenges related to the transition to a low carbon economy in Brazil and worldwide will be discussed. In addition to presentations by DNV GL and EPE, stakeholders from the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors will be able to discuss and contextualize this important transition. Invited and confirmed speakers include senior executives from IBP, EPE, Equinor, DNV GL, Statkraft, Catavento, Golar, Voltalia, Shell and Scatec.
