OMV says work has been completed on the largest 3D seismic survey to date in the Black Sea. The 7,740-sq km survey was over the 1-21 Han-Asparuh block in the Bulgarian sector. Acquisition took 210 days to complete. A complementary 2,000-km 2D campaign was completed last October.
OMV says the interpreted data will assist assessment of drilling locations for two exploration wells planned during 2015-2016. Total will operate the drilling phase. Water depths over the block extend down to 2,200 m.
