Petrobras has awarded a three-year contract extension to Prosafe for the Safe Concordia vessel for safety and maintenance support offshore Brazil.

The $179-million contract extension will be effective from June 2014, when the current contract expires. The Safe Concordia semisub was deployed to the Campos basin Marlim development in 2011 to support the turret-moored P-37 FPSO.
