Petrobras informs that it has made, today, the early payment of the debit balance of the Private Instrument for Installment Payment of Debt and Other Covenants, signed with the Fundação Petrobras de Seguridade Social (Petros), in the amount of R$ 2.25 billion.

Petrobras had contracted this debt to carry out the installment payment of the parity contribution that was assumed by the company in the New Deficit Equalization Plan (New DEP), in its condition of sponsor of the PPSP-R and PPSP-NR plans, in relation to the reduction of the savings benefit of the participants and beneficiaries of the mentioned plans.

The pre-payment is in line with the company's liability management process, reducing interest expenses and contributing to improve the liquidity of the plans.
