Renova Energia has awarded Pöyry with the consulting services assignment to establish a Project Management Office function for their wind power investments in Brazil. The assignment includes the design of general project management processes based on market best practice and Pöyry's expertise in implementing large projects, enabling consistent and high quality project delivery.

The basis for developing the project management processes will be Renova Energia's Alto Sertão III project. Totalling 738 MW of installed capacity, Alto Sertão III will be located in the Caetité region, Bahia State, in the Northeast of Brazil.
