Pré-Sal Petróleo (PPSA) is selling the first oil cargo in the Union from the Sepia production-sharing contract. The company sent an invitation letter to the market for ten companies that already have operations in the pre-salt layer, offering, through direct sales, a load of 500,000 barrels for loading in the last quarter of the year.

Interested companies will have until tomorrow (31), at 12:00h, to submit their offer. The winner will be the company that offers the highest price based on the Reference Price established for Sepia oil by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).

To ensure the integrity of the process, bids will be received via an email specifically created for this purpose and which cannot be accessed by PPSA before the deadline for submission of bids. The result will be known until the 2nd of September.
