Ethanol prices have fallen in the last week, according to the indexes measured by the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea / Esalq), USP. In the week of August 21 to 25, hydrated prices in the São Paulo market fell 1.78%, with trades totaling R$ 1.3999 a liter, compared to R$ 1.4253 the previous week. The low one interrupts a trajectory of six consecutive weeks of discharge.

 

The anhydrous, gasoline blend, fell by 0.65% in the comparison between the two weeks, closing at R $ 1.5468 a liter in the week of August 21 to 25, against R $ 1.5569 in the week between 14 and August 18, stopping a four-week high cycle.

 

Daily Ethanol

 

Last Friday (25), hydrated ethanol prices rose 0.14% in the São Paulo market, according to the Esalq / BVMF index. The business for biofuel was signed at R $ 1,453.50 per cubic meter.

In the week of August 20 to 26, hydrated ethanol prices were boosted in nine states, fell in 15 states and the Federal District, and remained stable in Roraima, according to a survey by the National Petroleum Agency, Natural Gas and Biofuels - ANP. Biofuel prices in Amapá were not reported.

 

The highest increase registered in the week occurred in the state of Tocantins, where ethanol appreciated 3.56% in prices, when compared to the values practiced the previous week. The biggest drop was in the state of Goiás, where biofuel fell 6.35%.
