Further integration of trading bloc Mercosur's hydrocarbons production and supply chain amid increasing oil and natural gas production is opening doors for SMEs.

To this end, Brazilian industrial development agency Abdi issued a call for bids to provide consultancy services.

The winner will carry out market research to map the region's oil and natural gas production chain, business opportunities and suppliers, and will support the incorporation of SMEs into the market.

Mercosur's structural convergence fund Focem will help finance the work. Offers are due August 18.
