The National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) held on Friday (28/10) the second stage of Transmission Auction No. 13/2015 for hiring public service of electricity transmission in 10 states (Bahia, Ceará, Goiás, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Pará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí and Rio Grande do Norte) with expected investments of R $ 12.6 billion and generate 25,658 direct jobs.

 

The event will take place at 11:30 am, at BM & FBOVESPA, in Sao Paulo. They represent the Ministry of Mines and Energy Secretary of Energy, Fabio Alves, and the Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat of Energy Planning and Development, Moacir Bertol.

 

In all, they auctioned 24 lots containing approximately 6800 kilometers (km) of transmission lines and 6,000 megavolt-ampere (MVA) of power substations.

 

The facilities are expected to enter commercial operation within 42-60 months from the date of signing of the concession contracts. The sum of the Permitted Annual Revenues (RAP) * maximum of 24 lots is $ 2.6 billion. The concessionaire winner will be entitled to receive, for 30 years, the RAP * for the service to be received from the commercial operation of the project.
