The Southeast recorded 1,329 consumer migrations to the free energy market in the first half of 2020, leading the ranking of Brazilian regions. In the second position, the South registered 541 adhesions to the Free Contracting Environment - ACL between January and June this year, followed by the Northeast, with 419, the Midwest, with 151, and, finally, the North, with 63 migrated. The values consider all the new registered charge points, even those in communion under the domain of a single agent.
According to a survey by the Electric Energy Trading Chamber - CCEE, São Paulo was the state with the highest volume of migrations in the period, with 843 new cargoes enabled to negotiate at the ACL. In the list of the five leaders in adhesions are still Paraná (233), Rio de Janeiro (229), Rio Grande do Sul (204) and Minas Gerais (182).
In all, 2,493 loads joined the ACL in the first half, an average of 415 per month. The volume is the highest for the period since 2016, a year considered a milestone in the segment due to the expressive growth presented in a short time.
