Petrobras reports that it has effected today a transaction with The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., member of MUFG, for prepayment of debt in the amount of US$ 333 million, with expected maturity in 2018, while simultaneous hiring new financing in the amount of US$ 500 million, with maturity in 2022. It has furthermore executed US$ 150 million in financing from Banco Safra, in 7/31/2017, also to mature in 2022, both transactions being unsecured.

The company emphasizes that the net funds raised with such loans will be used in its liability management strategy, and it will continue to assess new market opportunities.
