The CBO Group launched last Saturday (08) the CBO Iguaçu. Built in Itajaí - SC, the AHTS 18,000 is the second to be produced at Oceana Estaleiro and comprises a series of six vessels of this model being built on the site. The delivery of the ship is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2017.

Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels (AHTSs) are offshore maritime support vessels designed to carry out anchor handling, towing and platform supply operations, carrying a wide variety of cargoes, both liquid and bulk. CBO Iguaçu began to be built last year and is contracted by Petrobras to operate on the Brazilian coast.

"We will deliver, by 2018, six new vessels. With this, we will reach 33 ships, representing a growth of 22% of our total fleet. This increase occurs with large vessels and high technological content, "says the president of the CBO Group, Edson Souki.
