Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with its consequences on the economy and demand for fuels, and aiming at greater predictability for ethanol producers and fuel distributors, the ANP decides to exempt distributors and producers from the May 2 deadline. for presentation of extracts from anhydrous ethanol supply contracts under the caput of article 3 of ANP Resolution No. 67/2011.

The deadline of July 1, as established in § 5, article 3 of ANP Resolution No. 67/2011, is maintained for filing with ANP the extracts of anhydrous ethanol supply contract for prior approval by the Agency.

The decision was made based on a broad debate that has been held with ethanol producers and fuel distributors, as a measure to face the demand crisis and the increase in the degree of uncertainty in the fuel market caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
