The document was created by the API member companies as a guide for companies and individuals who develop the plan to face pandemics and infectious diseases. The Guide helps the planner to reflect on current resources and the preparation of resources, communications, transmission routes and on communication with other organizations during the pandemic, such as contractors and joint venture partners. Planning is necessary to understand the best practices that will limit the spread of the disease, the operational changes that can be considered during the pandemic, as well as the challenges that employers and employees may face.
