The Brasil Offshore, international trade fair for the oil and gas market held in the city of Macae, Norte Fluminense region of Rio de Janeiro, began on Tuesday, 25, its 10th edition reaffirming its commitment to the sector in an industry recovery scenario and positive projections of investments. It will be four days of immersion in a highly technical environment, with specialized professionals and the main players in the industry.

The fair expects to receive 50 thousand visitors, 600 national and international exhibition brands in its 40 thousand m² exhibition, and generate R $ 300 million in business. Among the major companies in the market will be Siemens, Mobil, Nuclep, Contitech and Aker Solutions. The edition counts on the presence and participation of Petrobras as the Master Sponsor of the event.

During the event, the public will have access to more than 190 hours of content between the Technical Conferences developed in partnership with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Brazilian Institute of Oil, Gas and Biofuels (IBP) and the new Knowledge Space of the Campos Basin, curated by the National Petroleum Organization (ONIP).

Investments impact the city of Macaé 

The Municipality of Macaé with the City Secretaries has developed a special commission to monitor and closely monitor the adjustments of the entire structure for the fair. The expectation is to generate R $ 50 million for the city through the movement of Brasil Offshore throughout the week - from the assembly of the stands to the end of the event.

The talks with collaborating entities in the Campos Basin Knowledge Space offer a new study format regarding the digital transformation in offshore activities, the revitalization of mature fields and the use of technology in industrial maintenance services to gain compliance. The support of FIRJAN and the National Petroleum Industry Organization (ONIP) ensures excellence in content enhancing the potential of the event.
