BRATECC's traditional breakfast opened the third day of participation of the FIRJAN System at the OTC Houston 2017. The event was moderate by IBP president Jorge Camargo and the talks of Márcio Félix, O&G secretary of the MME , the president of Chevron in Brazil, Javier La Rosa, the president of ExxonMobil Brasil, Carla Lacerda, the director of Exploration and Production of Petrobras, Solange Guedes and the director general of the ANP, Décio Oddone.

The MME was the first to highlight the new policies being developed by the Federal Government in order to make the Brazilian oil and gas market more attractive. "The new REPETRO should be announced in the next few days," said Márcio Félix, who also commented on the publication of the decree that provides for Petrobras' preemptive rights and also the resolution of the CNPE with the methodology for calculating the reference price of petroleum.

Chevron presented its portfolio in Brazil and an upbeat look for the future, including investment opportunities in mature fields. ExxonMobil, in turn, reinforced the importance of what has been developed in the country, such as the multiplicity of operators in the pre-salt and the publication of a calendar of auctions. "ExxonMobil sees great opportunities in Brazil. We want to be part of this country's pro-development dialogue," said Carla Lacerda.

With a lecture on Petrobras' E & P perspective, Solange Guedes presented the company's portfolio highlighting the importance of the technological achievements that allowed the expansion of production in cycles - onshore, shallow water, deep water, ultra-deep waters and pre-salt. "I can guarantee that the pre-salt today is totally viable, even in the barrel price scenario between 35 and 50 dollars, "he said.

Finally, the ANP focused its message on what is to come in Brazil, with the combination of Petrobras' divestment plan, improvements in Energy Policy, the auction calendar and the need for new companies, mainly services, resulting in A diversified and more competitive market.

The FIRJAN System also visited the fair with a market and technology look at its SENAI Institute of Welding Technology.
