In this initiative, come listen from the operator TotalEnergies about its projects in offshore wind power. It is a broad energy company whose activities surpass the diverse segments of the O&G industry, also including conventional and renewable electricity worldwide. Besides the company's operatorship of the Lapa pre-salt oil field and its participation in a number of Petrobras-operated deepwater assets in the Santos basin, Total Energies plans to install 9 GW of offshore wind capacity across three projects off Brazil's Ceará, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul states.

Our other speaker, the developer Neoenergia, will talk about their Offshore Wind plans in Brazil. The company's OFW project portfolio adds up to 9GW of installed capacity across three initiatives under environmental evaluation off the states of Ceará, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul. The company also has 4 GW of installed capacity in generation, including 88% of renewable energy, and are implementing another 0.7 GW with the construction of new onshore wind farms. In the transmission segment, there are 2.3 thousand km of lines in operation and 4.3 thousand km in construction.

Wood will share about its participation in the development of Floating Offshore Wind development in the North Sea, where it provided engineering solutions and consultancy services, such as in the Salamander Floating Wind Project that will generate 100MW. We will also be able to learn more about their hydrogen technology, and how it's being used on the first advanced biofuels project in South America at the Omega Green production facility in Paraguay.

Furthermore, the EIC will bring our Market Intelligence Director and Senior Analyst – Americas, to speak in depth about how the Offshore Wind Industry is looking, and what this means to the Brazil Market, also giving the UK's perspective on the development of Offshore wind projects. During the session you will get an understanding of the lessons learned in implementing offshore wind projects in the UK, and the opportunity that the sector will provide for the supply chain, along with an understanding of where there are currently supply chain constraints globally.
