The British Diplomatic Mission in Brazil has helped companies from the United Kingdom to win almost £2bn in the past three 3 years in the Brazilian Oil & Gas and Marine sectors. As a result, Brazil is now the 2º most successful global partner for British companies in these sectors. Two commercial missions, organised by the Energy department of UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) in Brazil, will take nine Brazilian organisations to the United Kingdom.

The missions have the objective of straightening the partnership between Brazil and the United Kingdom, long-time partners when it comes to trade and investment. In the agenda are expected events, visits and meetings with companies and organisations. A highlight is the workshop with the UK Export Finance, official agency of exportation credit of the UK, and the participation in the International Festival of Business (IFB), organised with support of UKTI, in Liverpool; and also in SeaWork, event that will take place in Southampton, a Marine hub.

The first mission, with focus on Marine, starts 13/06 and the companies are: Asgaard, Brasil Supply, OceanPact and ETP Engenharia will attend. The second mission, of Oil & Gas, starts in the week of 20/06 and will take to the United Kingdom the organisations: PetroRio, IBP, Gran Energia, FORSHIP Engenharia and Enaval Engenharia Naval e Offshore.
