Tabita Loureiro, appointed to exercise the position of director of the ANP, was approved last night (12/14) by the Commission of Infrastructure Services of the Federal Senate. She needs to be approved by the Senate floor before being nominated and taking office.
If approved, she may take office after her appointment is published in the Federal Official Gazette, starting on December 22, since he will occupy the vacancy resulting from the end of Felipe Kury's mandate, on December 21.
Tabita Loureiro has been a career public servant for almost 15 years. He has a degree in Production Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), a postgraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering and a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Pontifical University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) and an MBA in Oil and Natural Gas Management from Geneva Business School (GBS- Switzerland). He joined the ANP in 2006, through public tender. At the Agency, she worked at the Development and Production Superintendence (SDP) as an advisor, assistant superintendent and superintendent. She was advisor to the general director from 2017 to 2019, when she left the Agency to study the MBA. In 2020, she returned to the position of advisor to the ANP's general directorate.
