In the week of December 4 to 10, prices of hydrous ethanol rose in 16 states and the Federal District, according to the weekly report of the ANP - Agência de Petróleo, Natural Gas and Biofuels. The survey also pointed out that prices fell in nine other states and remained stable in Espírito Santo.

 

The highest increase occurred in Piauí, where the average price of biofuel was traded at R $ 3,158 a liter, up 3.10% compared to the previous week. The biggest drop was in Rondônia, where prices fell 2.31% in the comparison between the weeks, with an average price of R $ 3,334 a liter.

 

Weekly ethanol

 

Prices of hydrous ethanol measured by the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea / Esalq), USP, closed the week of December 5 to 9. Used in flex-fuel or originally alcohol, hydrous ethanol rose 3.56%, with the liter sold the previous week at R $ 1.8295 against R $ 1.8948 last week.

 

Anhydrous, used in the mixture with gasoline, was still traded, according to Cepea, at R $ 2.0670 against R $ 2.0209 the previous week, up 2.28%.
