Brazil/Norway
T&B Petroleum/Press Office
According to the executive director of ABRAN, Ricardo Cesar Fernandes, the meeting intends to discuss the scenario of recovery of oil and gas activities in Brazil, new technological trends and impacts on regulation of the maritime and offshore sector. "After recent reforms in the industry's regulatory environment, successful ANP auctions, Petrobras adjustments and oil price recovery, the market is preparing for a new cycle of growth that will bring opportunities, but also challenges for companies and regulatory bodies, "he says.
From this expectation, the event will debate the role of each player so that the new phase of expansion can be accelerated by overcoming challenges faced in the past. In addition, the impact of new technologies, such as those applied on ships with a high degree of autonomy, will also be addressed, on the basis of the presentation by the Norwegian Maritime Authority.
