Firjan participates, from September 24th to 27th, at Rio Oil & Gas, the main oil and gas event in Latin America. During the four days of activities, the federation, in partnership with ONIP, will promote the integration between national and international companies, helping to develop local companies in the oil and gas market.

With the prediction of a positive scenario for 2019, following the resumption of the industry, the recovery of oil prices in the international market and the holding of new auctions this year and next, Firjan has prepared an extensive program to assist companies, in particular small and medium-sized ones. In conjunction with Sebrae and in partnership with ONIP and IBP, it will promote the Business Round on 25 and 26, in addition to supporting the Sebrae Service Round on the 27th.

It will also be present with technical content in the Congress and in the forums that take place in the fair, and will have a team to present the offer of courses, services and technological solutions for companies to develop in the oil and gas market.

Firjan emphasizes that, once ANP auctions are resumed, the state of Rio de Janeiro is once again the main player, with the highest volume of signature bonus collection in the 15th Round. "Firjan's participation in Rio Oil & Gas provides us with greater knowledge about companies that seek partnerships with Brazilian industries and the promotion of investments in Brazil." Presence at the fair

Firjan has a booth at Pavilion 4, where it is receiving foreign delegations and business groups from the interior of the state. The two Firjan publications will also be available to the public: the Oil Industry Yearbook in Rio de Janeiro - 2018 and the Onshore Oil and Gas Environment in Brazil 2018, as well as the launch of the new edition of Firjan Petróleo magazine. Next to the stand, the Firjan SENAI mobile unit will show demonstrations of welding processes.

Alongside Marty Wittstrom of the Canadian Global Exploration Forum; Troy Finey from Petrosantander; in addition to representing Colombia, Karine Fragoso will mediate at the Onshore Forum, on the 27th, the panel "International Exchange: Regulation on Onshore Exploration and Production". Firman's Oil, Gas and Naval specialist, Heber Bispo, presented during the official Congress, on the first day, the technical article "Structuring of cost indicator of exploration and production activity in Brazil".

There will be offered, in addition to the courses and technological services of Firjan SENAI, the planning of the federation for the startups. In this environment, on Monday, Firjan's General Manager of Business, Carlos Magno Lucas, participates in the Tech Case session, speaking about Firjan's strategy for the development of the startup ecosystem and innovative companies. Paulo Coutinho, manager of the SENAI Institute for Biosynthetic Innovation, presents the lecture "Intensification of Processes Applied to the Oil & Gas Industry".

Still in the cycle of presentations and lectures that Firjan will make during the event, on the 24th, Walace Pires de Oliveira, technical coordinator of Business of the federation, spoke about "Firjan SENAI 4.0 - Maturity Assessment for Industry" in the space Oil and Gas Summit, organized by Sebrae.

The federation also supports Apex-Brazil's Corporate Venture in Brazil - Oil and Gas initiative to share the best practices of corporate entrepreneurship, investment in entrepreneurial capital and innovation, as well as market trends and challenges. On the 27th, during a seminar at the Technology Arena, Firjan specialist, Fernando Montera, promoted a presentation at the panel O&G Corporate Innovation, International Corporate Venturing & Innovation Investments Trends.

The panel will feature presentations by Antonio Perez Lepe, Investment Associate of Repsol Energy Ventures and Angela Üller of Coppe / EMBRAPII, moderated by Marcelo Murta, executive secretary of Petrobras.

Firjan will also take companies from other productive sectors of the state to participate in the exhibition "Rio Beyond Oil", under the seal of the Sou Rio Movement, for the valorization of products and services in Rio.
