From July 29 to August 2, hydrous ethanol appreciated, according to USP's Cepea / Esalq indexes, in São Paulo. Last week, the liter of biofuel was quoted at R $ 1.7253, up 0.56% when compared to the prices practiced the previous week (July 22 to 26), when it was quoted at R$ 1.7157/liter.

Anhydrous, used in blending with gasoline, also closed higher in the same period. The liter was traded at R $ 1.8992, an appreciation of 1.50% over the previous week, when the same liter was sold at R$ 1.8712, also by USP's Cepea / Esalq index, in São Paulo.

Daily ethanol 

At the Esalq / BM & F index hydrous ethanol closed devalued on Friday (2). The cubic meter of biofuel sold at R$ 1,790.50, down 0.17% from the previous day.
