The Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (IBP) held today (21), the launch event of the publication series "Good Practices of IBP", whose first chapter will be "Guidelines for Abandonment of Wells" - July 2017. The president Of IBP, Jorge Camargo, made the opening. The director general of the ANP, Décio Oddone, participated in the event. There were also talks by the coordinator of the Committee / IBP of Poços, Umberto Borges, and the superintendent of the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) Marcelo Mafra. The document released is a practical guide containing criteria and guidelines for the establishment of good industry practices, in consonance with the technical staff of the ANP. The guidelines are intended to assist operators associated with IBP to comply with well abandonment practices and procedures.
