The National Energy Policy Council (CNPE) held a video conference meeting this Tuesday (8/18).

Among the decisions were the approval of a resolution authorizing the ANP to extend the terms of the term of the concession contracts signed as of the 1st Round of Exploration Blocks Bids and the alteration of the rounds calendar, authorizing the ANP to carry out the 17th and 18th Bidding Rounds, under concession, in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Measures related to the Program for the Revitalization of Exploration and Production Activities for Oil and Natural Gas in Terrestrial Areas (REATE 2020) and the decarbonization goal of the National Biofuel Policy (RenovaBio) were also approved.
