Klein Tools (one of the leading manufacturers of hand tools and insulated tools aimed at professionals) is entering in the Brazilian market through the acquisition of Civitella & Cia.
Through this union, the operation in Brazil will be focused on oil & gas sector (in order to strengthen the brand into companies doing exploration through subsea umbilical - responsible for communication between devices and submerged surface where are located units of production and storage of oil).
Klein Tools will join its international expertise with the national expertise of Civitella & Cia, which is the only Brazilian manufacturer of steel meshes, that can be installed in up to 1,500 m below the surface, and other tools to oil rigs and petroleum vessels.
Besides the explorators, other “target” for Klein Tools is composed for companies that have big plants to construct its own oil & gas storage parks.
Civitella & Cia became the Brazilian operation and will provide Klein Tools’ complete portfolio of manual tools and isolated tools designed for professional installers.
