Lansdowne Oil & Gas announced Monday the appointment of Richard Slape as its Commercial Director. Slape has more than 25 years' experience of working in the upstream oil and gas sector, mainly for financial services companies in London. Most recently, he has worked as business development manager at Falkland Islands explorer Rockhopper Exploration.

Slape will take up his new appointment on March 31, 2014.
