Petrobras readjusted the average price of a liter of gasoline sold at refineries by R $ 0.15. The new value will be R $ 1.98 for resellers and will come into effect as of this Tuesday (19). The final price to drivers will depend on each gas station, which has its own profit margins, in addition to the payment of taxes and labor costs.
“The prices practiced by Petrobras are based on the import parity prices and, thus, follow the variations of the product's value in the international market and of the exchange rate, up and down. In 2020, the average price of gasoline sold by Petrobras reached a minimum of R $ 0.91 per liter ”, explained the company.
According to Petrobras, data from the Global Petrol Prices, referring to the last 11th, indicated that the average consumer price of gasoline in Brazil was the 52nd cheapest among 165 surveyed, being 21.6% below the average of US $ 1.05 per liter.
