Reelected on March 26 as president of the Brazilian Association of Independent Oil and Gas Producers (ABPIP) for the 2025–2027 term, Márcio Felix (pictured) emphasized in an interview with TN Petróleo the strategic relevance of Vitória PetroShow for the development of Brazil’s oil, gas, and energy sector.
The event takes place from April 8 to 10 in Vitória, Espírito Santo, and is expected to bring together companies of all sizes and from various backgrounds.

According to Felix, the exhibition reflects the geological and operational diversity found in Espírito Santo — a state that hosts operations across the entire spectrum: from ultra-deepwater pre-salt to onshore production.
"We have heavy oil, light oil, and natural gas. We have companies like Petrobras — a sponsor of the event — and independents like Prio, which develops deepwater projects in the southern part of Espírito Santo. There’s also Brava Energia, which produces gas in shallow waters off the northern coast, and onshore players such as Mandacaru. So this is a unique opportunity to engage with oil and gas producers from across the country in one place," said Felix.

He also praised the technical and informative value of Vitória PetroShow, which stands out as a dynamic business environment. This year’s edition will feature 1,500 square meters of exhibition space and 52 booths, bringing together national and international companies from across the sector.
For Felix, the structure offers a true "snapshot of the industry," where operators, suppliers, and service providers meet to create synergies and new business opportunities.

"It’s a chance to enhance the diversity of the supply chain. Large suppliers contract smaller companies, and those exchanges generate new ideas, business deals, and a sense of the vitality of the oil and gas sector — both in Espírito Santo and across Brazil," he concluded.

Vitória PetroShow 2025: More Than a Technical Event

Vitória PetroShow 2025 is shaping up to be more than just a technical exhibition. It is a showcase of Brazil’s energy potential and a key meeting point for the future of the oil and gas industry.
