The production of oil and natural gas in Brazil in February totaled approximately 2.613 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, with 2,090 million barrels of oil and 83.2 million cubic feet per day of natural gas. In comparison with the previous month had oil production increase of approximately 1.8% and 3.6% compared to February 2013. The production of natural gas increased approximately 8.8% compared to February 2013 and about 3.6% over the previous month - surpassing the record set in December 2013, when production reached 81.6 million meters cubic. 
 
The data was released on Thursday (3), in the production of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) Bulletin.
