The recently launched Parliamentary Front for the Green Economy will meet next Monday (5th) and will present its work schedule for this year. The new collegiate was officially launched last Friday (26) and will be coordinated by deputy Arnaldo Jardim (PPS-SP).
The objective of the Parliamentary Front for the Green Economy is to establish a permanent space for debate on the use of economic and tax policy mechanisms for the defense and preservation of the environment. The group will also propose actions aimed at implementing the National Solid Waste Policy.
Former Federal Revenue Secretary Everardo Maciel participated in the launching ceremony of the Parliamentary Front for the Green Economy last week and gave a lecture on the topic. At the time, he presented some tax incentives aimed at the environment, such as the creation of green products that would have ICMS discounts; tax incentives for good green practices, with discounts on IPTU and ISS; in addition to paying for environmental services.
