Last Wednesday (12/02), the UK ambassador to Brazil, Vijay Rangarajan (photo), in partnership with the president of INPI - National Institute of Industrial Property - BR, Claudio Furtado and the secretary Special Secretariat for Productivity , Employment and Competitiveness, Carlos da Costa (photo), announced the launch of the Prosperity Fund Brazil Intellectual Property program

The British Government will invest approximately R$ 18.5 million in Brazil until March 2023, with the objective of pointing out solutions that improve services provided to society and position INPI as a global reference in the intellectual property system.

The launch of the program marks a deepening of collaborations between Brazil and the United Kingdom based on strong cooperation in intellectual property policies, which will help to accelerate patent processes in Brazil and create an environment in which domestic innovation and foreign investment can flourish.
