Petrobras said last night (10) who held a megacaptação of resources through issue of securities in foreign markets. The amount raised was US$ 8.5 billion. The transaction is expected to occur on the 17th of March.
According to a statement from the company, capturing comprises the financial planning of the Business Plan and Management 2014-2018, which indicates that part of the funds needed to finance the investments will come from borrowings and debt that most will come from operating cash flow. The Plan provides that, from 2014 to 2018, Petrobras will capture a total of US$ 60.5 billion and cause repayments of US$ 54.9 billion, resulting in a net inflow of US$ 5.6 billion in the period.
The operation was conducted by the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, BB Securities Ltd., Banco Bradesco BBI SA, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. and JP Morgan Securities LLC as leaders and coordinators with the participation Banca IMI SpA and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. as co-managers.
