The ANP Collegiate Board approved yesterday (08/13) the resumption of the Public Call for Capacity Allocation No. 01R / 2020, for the Bolivia-Brazil Gas Pipeline (Gasbol), whose resumption had occurred on 07/09, after being suspended on 03/27/2020 due to developments in the Covid-19 pandemic. The order approving the resumption of the process was published today (08/14) in the Federal Official Gazette.
The decision to restart the process was based on requests from agents, who reported difficulties in finalizing and signing gas supply contracts during the Covid-19 pandemic in Bolivia.
Bearing in mind that the impacts of the pandemic still inflict significant losses on the process and considering the need to maintain equal conditions for all agents interested in participating in the public call, it was decided not only to extend the period related to the Guaranteed Proposals, but to promote the restart of the entire ANP Public Call process No. 01R / 2020.
The restart of the process is based on item 2.2.1.1 of the Public Call Notice for Contracting Natural Gas Transport Capacity No. 01-R / 2020, which determines that “Exceptionally, situations that make this procedure unfeasible, at any stage of the this Public Call, at the discretion and by decision of the ANP, justifiably, said Process may be partially or totally restarted, under the terms of this Notice, in which case a new Schedule will be posted on the TBG website, as well as informed to all participants in the event ”.
Finally, we inform that the announcement will be available on the ANP portal, according to the schedule here.
