Reflex Marine, a global leader in safe marine transfer solutions to the offshore, marine and renewables industries, is celebrating a successful year after expanding into new markets and growing its global team by 300%.

The firm was recently named the winning company in three categories at the Cornwall Business Awards, where the company was established. It picked up Employer of the Year and Best International Business during the evening before being awarded the prestigious Winner of Winners Award.

Over the past 12 months Reflex Marine has opened new offices in Houston and Bristol, adding an additional eight new staff at these bases, as well as enhancing its workforce at the company headquarters in Truro.

Phil Strong, CEO of Reflex Marine, said: “The last 12 months have seen significant growth for Reflex Marine, with the company breaking into new markets.

“The commitment and determination of our ever-expanding global team has been at the heart of that success, and has culminated in Reflex Marine becoming the first company from within the EU to have a product certified by the Brazilian Navy – a major milestone in our future growth ambitions.”

This year the company also released its latest crew transfer technologies – the XT range – with launch events held throughout the world, including at NASA’s Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory.

Katy Austin, marketing co-ordinator for Reflex Marine, said: “It has been a really exciting year for Reflex Marine, and to receive three awards in recognition of the company’s achievements during that period is great for everyone involved.

“We are continuing to work with the offshore, marine and renewables industries to provide safe and reliable methods of crew transfer and the coming years will undoubtedly be just as exciting for the business.”
