Petrobras AgencyPetrobras' progress in revitalizing the Marlim field in the Campos Basin in Rio de Janeiro, with cutting-edge technologies for mature offshore fields, which has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 55%, will be central themes of the debates at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), which takes place between May 6 and 9 in Houston (USA). On Sunday (5), Petrobras will receive the 2024 Distinguished Achievement Award for its contribution to the Campos Basin Renewal Program, which represents the world's largest deepwater mature asset recovery project.
The company will be present on several panels at the world's most important oil and gas industry event. CEO Jean-Paul Prates will give a presentation on the energy transition on Monday 05/06. Company executives and technicians will also talk about investments, technologies, and solutions development in the decarbonization process and engagement with the supply chain.
In a parallel agenda to the conference, the director of Engineering, Technology, and Innovation, Carlos Travassos, is taking part in a breakfast promoted by the Brazil Texas Chamber of Commerce (BRATECC) to talk about innovation in the oil and gas industry.
