John Blair brings 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Rose Petroleum
Rose Petroleum announced Wednesday that it has appointed John Blair as its Head of New Ventures. Rose, which has offices in the UK, US and Mexico, is a new business formed out of VANE Minerals. The company has retained its mining division, which is developing gold, silver, copper and uranium production in the US and Mexico, but its new oil and gas division is now actively looking to invest in hydrocarbon assets.
Blair, previously a consultant to Rose, brings 27 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. He is a former senior vice president of Knowledge Reservoir, a global oil and gas consulting firm. Blair also founded and headed three private US-based oil and gas companies. Rose CEO Matthew Idiens commented in a company statement:
"I am very pleased to announce the appointment of John. He has a huge wealth of experience in the Industry and a strong track record. I look forward to working closely with John and rapidly building on the company's portfolio through the opportunities that we are actively assessing."
