On July 18, 25, 26 and 27, Sebrae and the Ministry of Economy will hold the InovAtiva Experience, an event that will close the first 2020 cycle of InovAtiva Brasil, the largest startup acceleration program in Latin America. Created in 2013, the initiative has served more than a thousand innovation companies in 10 cycles. In this edition, InovAtiva Experience is being carried out online. The program, which Sebrae has been part of since 2016, offers entrepreneurs mentoring, training and connection with the market.

The final moment of the Acceleration Cycle is the result of the union of all players in the innovation ecosystem. This is a moment full of opportunities for connections between partners, mentors, investors and large companies across the country. The theme of InovAtiva Experience 2020.1 will be: “The Future is Now!”.

A total of 136 startups will be accelerated in this first cycle, involving the mobilization of mentors from the program, volunteer specialists, investors from the most varied funds, speakers, representatives of large companies, in addition to community leaders. The opening will take place on the 18th, with the presence of the president of Sebrae, Carlos Melles, and the Special Secretary for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy, Carlos Da Costa.

The following Saturday (25), collective mentoring will take place with interactive panels between the participants. On the same day, there will be a discussion about investment and a conversation with the unicorn company. Sunday (26) will have community activities and, on Monday (27), the Demoday will be held. During the last day of the event, the startups will make their presentations and the investor bank will make the selection of startups highlighted in the cycle.

"This is the first cycle and we are already open for enrollment for the second, which will take place in the second semester", explains Arthur Coelho, Innovation analyst at Sebrae. Startups interested in signing up should visit www.inovativabrasil.com.br.
