Institution leads the Petrogas Network and expands its presence through discussions on innovation, ESG, and offshore platform decommissioning

The leadership of Sebrae Sergipe — comprised of Superintendent Priscila Felizola, Technical Director Brenno Barreto, and Administrative-Financial Director Raymundo Almeida — attended the opening of Sergipe Oil & Gas (SOG), held this Wednesday, July 23, at AM Malls. The event is one of the most significant in the state’s energy sector.

For the fourth consecutive year, Sebrae is participating in the event with a booth — this time in partnership with the Petrogas Network, a coalition of more than 25 public and private institutions working within the oil and gas value chain. According to Priscila Felizola, Sebrae's presence at strategic events like SOG is essential for the sustainable development of Sergipe.

“This year we succeeded in consolidating the Petrogas Network, a key initiative for the state that aims to unite the entire production chain. Sebrae is leading the coordination of this network and actively contributes to areas such as sustainability, solid waste management with a focus on recycling, and other sectors we are working to strengthen,” stated the superintendent.

Lea Cristina Bomfim, coordinator of the Petrogas Network, emphasized that Sebrae’s role at SOG goes beyond an institutional booth. The organization is involved in the Innovation Arena, the ESG Arena — focusing on regional development — and is also promoting the Energy Legal Talk, which features panels on offshore platform decommissioning.

“Decommissioning is already a reality in Sergipe, with major companies operating and contracts underway. Discussing this topic is vital so that local entrepreneurs are prepared to engage in this emerging market, which demands qualifications, innovation, and strong coordination across the supply chain,” said Lea.

For event organizer Eduardo Aragon, CEO of Brainmarket, Sebrae’s role is strategic in strengthening the participation of micro and small businesses in the new opportunities arising in Sergipe’s energy sector.

“Sergipe has deepwater oil reserves, a regasification terminal, a large-scale thermoelectric plant, and onshore production. All of this requires a well-prepared service chain. Sebrae is a key player in connecting small businesses to these demands and equipping them to seize these opportunities,” he emphasized.

About the Petrogas Network
Comprising more than 25 institutions, the Petrogas Network connects public and private initiatives, promotes dialogue between strategic sectors, and aims to position Sergipe as a national benchmark in the energy sector.
