The discoveries of light oil in the Sergipe Alagoas basin set the tone for the auction of land and sea blocks.

Exxom Mobil (50%), Murphy (20%) and Brazil's Queiroz Galvão (20%) bought a block in deep water, paying 99% premium, and one in ultra-deep waters, with a premium of 444.5 %. The consortium paid a total bonus of almost R $ 110 million for the two assets.

Of the blocks offered in terrestrial sectors, only two were sold by the Brazilian Greenconsult and Cranes of Brazil.
