The lower hull of semi-submersible rig Urca landed on the last Wednesday in Rio de Janeiro. Will be integrated to the hull six large blocks, with about 1.7 million tonnes in total, mounted in Estaleiro Brasfels of Keppel Offshore & Marine, in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro. The structure with 55% of local content, was transported to Brazil by the Dockwise Vanguard vessel, who left Singapore in December, using dry tow system, which is safer, faster and more efficient. From Wednesday through the end of 2015, when it will be handed over to be chartered to Petrobras, will be continued to the installation of the blocks.
