T&B Petroleum/Press OfficeFrom August 23 to 25, the future of energy will be the subject of debates at Shell Talks 2022. The event, which returns to face-to-face format, will be held at Armazém 5 do Píer Mauá (Rio de Janeiro), and will also be broadcast live through the company's website and the social networks of the newspapers O Globo and Valor Econômico (LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube).
With the presence of experts, the five panels will address issues such as: energy security and competitiveness; the ESG agenda in the eyes of CEOs; diversity, equity and inclusion; energy transition; and the role of technology in the future of mobility.
The entire event program will be connected with the Shell Group's Powering Progress strategy, based on four pillars: achieving net zero emissions by 2050, boosting lives, delivering value to shareholders and respecting nature.
Simultaneous events at Pier Mauá
This year, Shell Talks takes place in parallel with the Shell Eco-Marathon, an event that brings together university students between August 22 and 25, at Armazém 3 do Píer Mauá. Participants are challenged to build prototype cars that travel the longest distance with the least amount of energy on a track built for competition. 30 teams from different states of the country and the Americas are expected.
